Bold Action was started because in conversations about our current political climate, we kept hearing from people, “I want to do something, but I don’t know what to do.” We began to think, “If not us, who?” So we planned a concerned citizen’s meeting that drew nearly 50 people. In that meeting, we discussed attendee’s purposes for attending and their main concerns. We then shared information sources and action ideas, with the notion that 50 brains are better than one–and that together we can be a force for good.
That initial meeting led to the creation of this site, which serves as an information hub for people who want easily accessible information and clear action steps to take to preserve our constitutional democracy. Bold Action will continue to meet in person. Consult the calendar on the “Stay Active” page for meeting days, times, and locations.
